Paintings and Art

These paintings are by PETER NYANJUI MBURU a Kenyan visual artist in most medias, i;e Wood, stones and welded scrap metal sculptures. His favourite art form is painting. He has staged several exhibition in Kenya around Nairobi, Mamba village art Gallery, National Museums of Kenya Art Gallery, African Heritage Design company shops, and Village market exhibition Hall. In 2005 he helped a Kenyan artist do a touring exhibition in UK called Kenyan Touring Exhibition at Cate Mose Vale community Gallery curated by Abigail Bishop. The exhibition toured most part of UK ,schools and college galleries for two years 2005 to 2007. He does relief sculptures installations. He did one at national museum of Kenya last November of a Train Engine life size that used to pull Man Eaters Of Tsavo carriages. His paintings are pure abstract and semi-abstract either talking of communities in Kenya or happenings.
